Images are sent from the client’s PACS/RIS to the CIAN Teleradiology platform via:

• Secure VPN
• Encrypted cloud gateway
• DICOM push

Data is protected using HIPAA/GDPR-compliant encryption

Studies appear on a centralized radiologist worklist Automatic or manual case assignment is done based on:

• Modality (X-ray, CT, MRI)
• Subspecialty (Neuro, MSK, Chest, Body, etc.)
• Urgency (STAT, urgent, routine)
• Time zone & availability

Board-certified radiologists review images

Prior studies and clinical history are reviewed when available

Critical findings are flagged immediately Structured reports are created by the radiologist

Reports include: Clear findings, Impression and Actionable recommendations

Random or targeted QA checks Second opinions for complex cases

Continuous performance monitoring (accuracy, TAT, compliance)

The Final report is delivered back to client via:

• PACS/RIS integration
• Secure portal
• Encrypted email (if required)

Turnaround times (TAT) typically:

• Emergency: 30 minutes
• Routine: 2-6 hours

Images and reports are securely archived which forms basis for previous images and reports.

Retention follows:

• Local regulations
• International data protection standards
